Our Story

We are a group of young Slovaks in Denmark who care about Slovakia. Slovak Danish Network is a voluntary association founded in March 2024, continuing the legacy of the Danish-Slovak Friendship Association, originally established in 1997 by a group of Slovaks and Danes.

Achievements

Collaboration with the Embassy of the Slovak Republic

In 2024, we began actively cooperating with the Embassy of the Slovak Republic in Copenhagen which was closed at the end of the year.

Association Takeover

An event at the Slovak Embassy in Copenhagen, featuring networking across generations of Slovaks in Denmark, with over 100 participants.

Career Event

A panel with five professionals from the public, corporate, and entrepreneurial sectors, combined with professional networking.
